Deborah Moore is an Interviewer/Project Coordinator II for the WeCareAdvisor study to help primary caregivers manage behavioral symptoms of persons living with Dementia. She has worked in research for many years. Her experiences include conducting a study and report on the effects of gentrification in certain neighborhoods of Portland called the 2015 Alberta Street Project in Portland, Oregon. She measured and compared physical activity of youth and people of color throughout the Portland Metropolitan area. She also conducted video conversations with senior participants living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) to determine whether increased social activity results in improved brain health. As a Project Coordinator II, she specializes in recruitment and developing strategies of reaching caregivers for the WeCareAdvisor study. Deborah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Communications from the University of Oregon.
